Adobe has launched new software to help companies control and manage electronic document usage. This can be done inside or outside the corporate firewall.

Lifecycle Policy Server, can be used across multiple document platforms. Also online or offline. Permissions can be set, to say who has access, when, for how long and what they can do once they have access.

Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional has also been released. The main feature is enhanced security features.
